Live-In Care
This is a solution for clients needing much support to remain safe whilst living at home.
The healthcare assistant lives with you to provide 24/7 hour care with a 2-hour break per day, whether covered by a relief healthcare assistant or family or if it is safe to leave the client alone for two hours. This is assessed initially.

Overnight Stay
If it is unsafe for the client to be left alone at night. A healthcare assistant can stay overnight with the client.
Can I arrange my home care?
YES, you can. If you meet the eligibility criteria for financial assistance, it is imperative that you opt for direct payments to cater for your care needs. These payments are issued by the council to you or a trusted individual to finance services that align with your care plan. In England, direct payments are necessary to utilise your budget for your care and support. If you are uncomfortable handling your care, the council can manage your budget and coordinate the services on your behalf.
